Yes, these oils do perform better then Group II non-hydrocracked oils, however their performance is no match to Group IV synthetic oils.
Group IV Synthetic Oils: Do you have to become a chemist to use synthetic oil? Of course not, but we also don't want you to be fooled by the slick marketing approach that the big oil companies use. They all talk a big game, but the bottom line is they do not stand up to the performance level of Amsoil. Group IV synthetics is the strength of the Amsoil product line.
